The Liberty is a stand out from the rest of the big wheel scooters. The Liberty looks as if it started life as a classic ET4 or the like and, with some heat treatment and a bit of pulling and pushing, was transformed into what it is now.

The engine in the Liberty is pretty much par for the course as far as big wheeled scooters go: Piaggio’s own 150cc fourstroke. There could be no greater complement than the rest of the scooter world’s jumping on a good thing and using your own engine. So much so is the engine a class leader its dubbed the L.E.AD.E.R (low emissions advanced engine range) – not for its dominance among scooters (though there’s a pun in there somewhere), rather for its greenness.

The Liberty, like many other big wheelers, carries a 14-inch rear and 15-inch front wheel.Why not try an optional top box as well? A screen is also available to take care of some protection for your top half.

A Piaggio feature of great benefit is the anti-theft immobiliser device that is fitted to every scooter in the range, adding to peace of mind and security.
