The Piaggio Zip 50 is a fanatstic entry level scoot. The Zip 50 sports Italian branding and Italian style to boot.  The punchy 4 stroke engine (with electric start) and 'twist and go' transmission provides ample pickup for whizzing around town, while the underseat storage is ample for an open face helmet, or the bread and milk.

Apart from the very sharp price, we really like the Zips glovebox area for your sunnies and spare change (needed for an occassional tank of  fuel).  The dash is very clear and functional, and the brakes are more than capable of pulling you up very quickly.  The shopping bag hook came in very handy too.

The underseat storage can be complimented with an optional genuine Piaggio topbox which is lockable and comes colour coded to match your scoot.

Zip 50 colours include the popular vibrant red, blue, silver and gloss black.  As usual with a quality brand like Piaggio, your investment is protected with a full 2 years, unlimited kilometre warranty and if needed our Scooter Central techicians are on hand 6 days a week for your convienience.

As for fuel consumption you can expect between 45 and 55 kilometres per litre and with a 7.5 litre tank, so we're talking $8.50 to do over 300kms.  Cheap to run and it puts out super low emmissions too.
