THE MINOR SERVICE ENSURES YOU MAINTAIN YOUR MANUFACTUERES WARRANTY AND THAT YOUR SCOOT STAYS IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER.
This service is also very specific in checking all points of safety related to your specific scooter. It is always best to have your scooter serviced by scooter technicians such as Scooter Central. Here's what happens during a minor service.
Every 5000kms or 12 months
• Remove and replace engine oil
• Remove and replace oil filter (if required)
• Remove and replace gearbox oil
• Adjust throttle cable free play
• Adjust steering head bearings as required
• Clean air filter • Adjust idle speed/ air mixture
• Assess general condition of scooter
• Check headlight, tail light, turn signals
• Check and adjust tyre pressures
• Assess tread wear and report
• Top up battery
• Check electrical system charge rate
• Check brake pad wear and report
• Top up brake fluid levels as required
• Adjust brakes as required
• Tighten all critical bolts
• Remove, replace and gap spark plug
• Check front axel
• Lubricate brake levers
• Lubricate stands
• Test ride $149 plus parts and oils
