The mighty Aprilia Scarebeo 500 set new ground when it was released in early 2007 as the front runner in light weight maxi scoots.  The Italian Aprilia firm proved once again that their Scarebeo range was the class leader in style, comfort and practicality, building a top quality scooter that is simply packed with features.  The integrated alarm system is a standout, along underseat storage big enough for most laptops or even a full face helmet.  This particular red example has done 15000kms and includes both the standard short and optional tall touring windscreen and a genuine Aprilia topbox.

The Scarebeo has adjustable rear suspension and top quality 'intergrated linked brakes' that are complimented by large wheels, and a strong fully automatic 460cc fuel injected engine, that can see traveling at a license burning 160kmph. 

Of course its not really the top speed that you are looking at with a scooter like this.  Its the sheer comfort and torque of the big bore engine that really impresses. This scoot is a delight to commute to work on 5 days a week, and then more than capable to take a pillion and all your gear for a day trip up to the Hunter Valley wine country or for lunch in the Blue Mountains.  Nice.
