MOTORCYCLE AND SCOOTER TECHNICIAN POSITION VACANT
Motorcycle and Scooter Technician
Established in 2004 our store is the 6 Time Winner of the Northern Beaches Business Achiever Award for Automotive Services and we we're even a Finalist in the Australian Small Business Achiever Awards 2015. In 2015 we were extremely excited to produce the NSW TAFE Student of the year.
Working as a tech with us is diverse and exciting as you are part of a dynamic team of two wheel enthusiasts. Yes, we love all kinds of bikes here, from sports bikes to dirt bikes to cruisers, but our specialty is scooters and this passion has lead us to become the most successful scooter store in Australia. We sell all of the leading scooter brands and specialize in Italian scooters including Vespa, Piaggio and Aprilia, along with SYM and Kymco from Taiwan. These five brands make up the major suppliers here in Australia. We are also the largest scooter accessory and parts store in Australia to complement our busy onsite technical workshop.
Our workshop team members need to be capable of working independently and also as part of a tea. Our team support network works so that if a tech gets stuck on a job, our workshop coordinator and other techs will help out to find a solution with you. If the issue needs elevating further we have direct access to factory support as required.
A typical day is start at 830am and finish at 5:06pm. Along with a total of one hours breaks each day, this sees you work a standard 38 hour week Monday to Friday. We can be a busy shop, so there is often scope for overtime on Saturdays. Our store is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Our workflow is arranged each day by our Workshop Coordinator, and spare parts supply is provided by a specific spare parts interpreter. Both of these team members work with you each day to help us meet our goal of providing the best of care and cost effective solutions for our clients.
We keep a large spare parts supply on site and our workload is roughly 85% scooter, 15% motorcycle. We typically don't work on Chinese style machines as we sell and service the middle and high end of the market.
