Casual Motorcycle/Scooter Mechanics Assistant
Scooter Central is on the lookout for a handy motorcycle mechanics assistant. The right applicant will be a hands on sort of person who can tackle practical tasks. The role sees you doing a myriad of tasks form unboxing new scooters, buying fuel, dismantling wreck scooters, driving our ute to drop off recycle metal, cardboard, plastics, batteries and more.
The mechanics may ask for your assistance on mechanical jobs, like helping remove an engine, so average fitness is important. We are hoping you are comfortable with hand tools and happy to take on very basic mechanical jobs.
If you are generally a handy type you will be fine. You don’t need to be a qualified mechanic for this role.
The role may suit semi retired types, or generally handy people, but make sure you have a riders license and are comfortable doing an automatic ute.
Wages are at current casual rates and we anticipate three days per week 0830-3pm at the moment Mon, Wed, Fri.
